ELETRICAL &ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

TECHNOLOGIST II:          GRADE:  7N                  POST: 1 REF: TUM/ADVERT/EXT/RECR/1/TII/N/E/2024

Reporting To: Chief Technologist

Professional Requirements

1. Must possess Diploma or its equivalent qualification in a technical field
2. Must have at least three (3) years relevant work experience at Grade 6N or comparable position
3. Must provide evidence of computer literacy

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Preparation of practical classes/courses and keeping of student records, practical allocation and loss/breakage records
2. Collection and preparation of teaching and research materials
3. Ensure that the laboratory, glass ware and equipment are clean and available for the next practical
4. Assist in student projects and research activities
5. Assisting Students during laboratory/workshop practical sessions
6. Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
