Reporting To Chairperson of Department/Section Head

Professional Requirements

1. Be holders of at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory or related field from a recognized institution.
2. Must have minimum 5-year experience running a busy multi-specialty teaching laboratory of Human Anatomy.
3. Be registered and in good standing by KMLTTB.
4. Must have research experience.
5. Must provide evidence of computer literacy

Duties and responsibilities

1. Provide leadership in the management of our multi-specialty laboratories.
2. Organize practical sessions for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
3. To service and maintain equipment and supervise technical staff.
4. Supervision of technical staff in the department.
5. Participate in research activities in the department.
6. Participate in procurement matters.
7. Engage with external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for the department's initiatives.
8. Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
