Reporting To:  Senior Technician

Professional Qualifications

1. Must possess a Diploma in a relevant technical discipline from a recognized

Institution.

OR

1. Must possess GTT I in a relevant technical discipline OR Craft II certificate
2. Must have at least three (3) years working experience as Artisan II at Grade 4N or comparable position

 Duties and Responsibilities

1. All carpentry works and repairs
2. Fixing, PVC, wooden and carpet floors
3. Fabrication of partitions
4. Construction of wooden structures and fences
5. Operating woodworking machines for planning and splitting in preparing materials in the workshop
6. Carrying out joinery works and repairs
7. Making and repair of furniture, lockers, and shelves
8. Make and repair all doors, door frames, roof trusses and roof leakages
9. Requisition of tools, equipment and materials from central stores
10. Provide estimates and specifications of materials
11. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
