MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

1. TECHNICIAN II (ELECTRICAL)                     GRADE 5N                  POST :1 REF: TUM/ADVERT/EXT /RECR/1/ TE / J/ 2026

 Reporting To:  Senior Technician

Professional Qualifications

1. Must possess a Diploma in a relevant technical discipline from a recognized Institution.

OR

1. Must possess GTT I in a relevant technical discipline OR Craft II certificate
2. Must have at least three (3) years working experience as Artisan II at Grade 4N or comparable position

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Installation of wiring in buildings
2. Repair and service of electrical machines
3. Inspection all Distribution Boards for safety purposes
4. Maintenance of electricity supply
5. Requisition of tools, equipment and materials from central stores
6. Provide estimates and specifications of materials
7. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
